1. Age Requirements: Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21 and no maximum rental age. Drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 will incur an additional daily fee.
2. Forms of Payment: Credit card, with available credit and in the renter’s name, must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card presented by renter must match the name and number stored for the online transaction. Credit Cards honored- American Express, MasterCard, VISA, Discover, Diners Club An authorization on the credit card in the amount of 1000.00 USD plus the cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicles or late charges. Debit and or Check cards are not accepted at this location. Debit and or check cards are considered to be any non-credit card American Express, MasterCard, VISA, Diners Club, Discover logo.
3. Renter Requirements: Must meet the location’s minimum age requirements. Present a valid driver’s license. Present a major credit card in renter’s name at the time of rental. This location accepts notarized Chinese Drivers License. International drivers must provide a valid license from their country of residence. In addition to the drivers license, if the characters are not in English or Latin characters, an international drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in characters other than Latin, an International permit is required or a Notarized English Translation is accepted.
Your rental will be subject to the following additional rental policies:
1. Cross Border Policy: Driving restricted within the country of Dominican Republic only.
2. Refueling Service: As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel. Option 1- Prepay Fuel This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of gas at market price at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused gas. Option 2- We Refill This option allows the renter to pay Prestige at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local market fuel prices. Option 3- You Refill This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.
When you complete the rental agreement you will be required to present a valid credit or debit card as security for any charges incurred during your rental. Your signature on the rental agreement will pre-authorise the Rental Company to charge the card for future payments that become due. The Rental Company may also hold a deposit against these future liabilities – see Forms of Payment & Deposits.
When you return the vehicle, we recommend that you are remain present until the vehicle is inspected by the Rental Company. You may have to wait during busy times.
If there is any change in condition of the rental vehicle which exceeds normal wear and tear then this will be recorded by the Rental Company on a written post rental inspection report a copy of which will be provided to you.
If you choose not to be present for the post-rental inspection the Rental Company will inspect the vehicle in your absence. In the event of any change of condition that exceeds normal wear and tear to the rental vehicle then the Rental Company will notify you and this will be recorded on a written post rental inspection report.
Please note your liability for damage extends until the vehicle is checked in by the Rental Company. Unless otherwise provided in the rental agreement, if you return the vehicle after the Rental Companies business hours, you will remain responsible for any damage or loss in accordance with the rental agreement until the Rental Company reopens and conducts the post-rental inspection.

Great service. Our driver Johnathan was there to meet us at the exit in the airport and quick to get us on the road and to our destination. Really… read more friendly guy and pleasure to work with.
When we arrived, our first driver, Yeisky, was all of about 23, a young dad and just full of good spirit. He offered us cool towels and water immediately when we got to the van. From there, he navigated the airport traffic deftly to get us to our hotel in good time all the while holding a friendly conversation with the best English he could.
Our return trip was equal in all of the above with our driver Santos, a retired Telecom Sales Professional, who was just so friendly and glad to be a professional driver instead of sitting at a desk. Again, the three of us had a great conversation over a multitude of topics ranging from sports, to economy and other resorts that we might want to visit. He guided us to departure area and made sure to interpret for us with the airport porters to make sure we got to and through the lane traffic with ease. Santos has an easy smile and voice that should be on radio.
One of the most important things that makes Prestige a go to is how they respond to requests. The day before we were to leave, I wanted to make a change to our pock up times due to my error in recognizing my departure time. I needed and earlier time. I called and actually got a hold of the owner of prestige via the WhatsApp. (You need that in DR to communicate) Him and I made the corrections and also talked small business. All while he was dealing with his kids at the house. – A real small business owner right there.
I now have a transportation company that is locked in my contacts for my next trip to Punta Cana.
